Enrico O. Souto, MD, is a distinguished gastroenterologist renowned for his expertise in advanced endoscopic techniques. With a specialization in non-invasive endoscopic procedures, Dr. Souto excels in diagnosing and treating a wide array of medical conditions. Additionally, Dr. Souto is adept at performing endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), a critical procedure for diagnosing and treating conditions related to the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, and pancreas.

Born into a family of esteemed surgeons, Dr. Souto was drawn to a career in medicine from an early age. His medical training fostered a deep-seated passion for surgical excellence combined with comprehensive patient care. This dual interest led him to specialize in gastroenterology, where he seamlessly blends surgical skill with clinical acumen. He returns to serve the Miami area after a short tenure at the Memorial Healthcare System.
