Grand Opening of New Location
Good news! A new location has opened for GastroMed. With the new addition, GastroMed now has a total of seven locations.
GastroMed focuses on the treatment and diagnosis of digestive and gastrointestinal system issues. They are filled with 11 board certified physicians who have years of extensive experience in gastroenterology care. These physicians can provide you with an in-depth analysis and can evaluate the underlying issues that are causing your symptoms. Every location offers screenings for colon cancers or any other disease that may affect the colon, small intestine and upper gastrointestinal tract. Helping to identify the risk factors is what they take pride in, so that you, the patient, can take preventative caution to avoid serious issues and that you can be able to enjoy life.
The new location is located in the Aleman Building (10305 NW 41 Street) in the heart of Doral. There are many distinct hotspots nearby. Located 2.9 miles away you have a Topgolf for a fun filled golf experience and the Costa Del Sol Golf Club is located just a few minutes away. Also, 2.7 miles away is CityPlace Doral, a luxurious shopping mall with a variety of stores to choose from, amazing dining and entertainment options. Dr. Vanessa Sostre is the main doctor of the Doral GastroMed location. Vanessa is a gastroenterologist as well as an Internal Medicine Board Certified physician who specializes in general gastroenterology. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at New York Medical College - St. Joseph University Medical Center in Patterson, New Jersey. While at New York Medical College, she was given the title Associate Chief Internal Medicine Resident. Afterwards, Sostre finished her residency of gastroenterology at the State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. At SUNY, she was awarded “Fellow of the Year” for two consecutive years.
